Den Preis für das POFQ kann ich nur bestätigen, ist genau der gleiche, den wir für unsere Buchung bezahlt haben, die ich vor dem 15.November getätigt habe. Also doch Bauernfängerei

Hast Du das POFQ zwischen dem 20. Juli und dem 15. November 2012 gebucht und es war der gleiche Preis, wie jetzt? Wenn ja, dann ist es Bauernfängerei.

Hast Du das POFQ VOR zwischen dem 16. April und dem 20. Juli 2012 gebucht? Wenn ja: In dieser Zeit galt ein 10% Discount.

Von 10 % Abzug sehe ich da jetzt nix , wie es ja für die Moderates angekündigt war .....man sollte mal bei UK per Mail nachfragen .

Ich will sie zwar nicht auf Ideen bringen, aber sie könnten theoretisch die Ausrede bringen, dass im POFQ die Discount-Kontingente schon weg sind, denn das Kleingedruckte sagt: "The number and type of rooms allocated to this offer are limited."

Es muss der 1. oder 2.12. gewesen sein (das Gratis Dining Plan Angebot hat gerade noch gegolten), als ich die Abfrage gemacht habe.

OK, und bist ja jeweils in einem All-Star. Hab wieder nachgeschaut. Die vorherigen Room-Only-Discounts für die ASR sind am 20. Juli 2012 beendet worden, für OKW und SSR wurde 35% Room-Only am 20. August 2012 verlängert, buchbar bis 3. Dezember 2012.

Also wieder ein Anhaltspunkt, dass tatsächlich etwas nicht stimmen kann. Gut seid ihr so aufmerksam. Für mein Resort hätte ich es jetzt nicht mal bemerkt, da bei meiner letzten Preisabfrage wie gesagt schon der gleiche Discount gegolten hat.

Etwas scheint also gewaltig krumm zu sein.

OK, sorry. Resultat bleibt aber dasselbe. Auch für das POFQ liefen die vorherigen Room-Discounts am 20. Juli 2012 aus.

Hab denen jetzt mal ein Mail geschickt um hoffentlich rauszufinden, warum da möglicherweise die Room-Only-Discounts nicht angewendet werden. Nicht mit meinen Daten, sondern mit denen von Alex (Danke!).

"Dear sir or madam,

I’m in the midst of planning my next Walt Disney World trip and have been researching prices for a couple of weeks now.

One of the options I was looking into was the following:

- 3rd to 18th May at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter , 1 Guest.

When I researched the Room-Only price for the accommodation mentioned above on your website around two weeks ago, when there was no discount, I got a room-only price of £1,800.

With the current Free Dining and Room-Only discount promotions that were released just yesterday, I ran another search on your booking site. Surprisingly, the accommodation price remained at £1,800 – even though there’s currently a 10% discount on a Port Orleans French Quarter room advertised. Adding the 14-Day Ultimate Ticket and the Quick Service Dining Plan brings the total amount up to £1'962.00.

How come that the price for the room portion has remained the same as it was a couple of days before the current discount was released?

I was under the impression that your booking system automatically applies any available discounts. Or am I doing something wrong on my part? Do I need to enter some kind of a discount code during the booking process in order to have the price recalculated and displayed?

Also, I see that the Free Dining offer can be combined with the Room-Only discounts. What do I need to do in order to have these offers combined?

I’m in contact with other Disney fans on an internet forum and got similar reactions: Their price for the accommodation part of their trips has remained the same, even with the newest room discounts released. Are we doing it all wrong, or is there a glitch in the system?
