seit ein paar Tagen gibt es ein neues Buch aus dem Hause Disney Imagineering. Und zwar handelt es sich um das lange schon angekündigte, immer wieder verschobene und jetzt doch erschienene Werk

Walt Disney Imagineering: A Behind the Dreams Look at Making More Magic Real.


Leider ist meine Bestellung noch nicht eingetroffen, so kann ich Euch noch keine Review geben - aber Ihr findet eine tolle Zusammenfassung bei Disney & More ... und zwar hier.

Viel Spaß mit dem Buch ... sofern Ihr dem Tip folgen solltet :001:

Reto hat seit Jahren ne Jahreskarte fürs MSE
Habe ich schon ein paar Tage in meiner Amazon Wish List gespeichert. Werde ich mir auch bestellen nächstens.

Gestern bei mir eingetroffen, bzw. musste es heute auf der Post abholen.

Wunderschön, sehr liebevoll und noch besser gemacht als das erste Imagineering Buch.

Die Autorin, Melody Malmberg ist übrigens die Frau von Imagineer Joe Rhode (der mit dem riesigen Ohrschmuck), welcher auch für den Adventurer's Club und Animal Kingdom verantwortlich war.

Bestellt hatte ich es vor Monaten schon. Wenn ich bei Amazon.com schaue, steht, dass es "In Stock" ist, müsste somit eigentlich am gleichen Tag rausgehen und mit Expedited Shipping hat man es etwa innert 10 Tagen.

Hab grad nochmal in meinem Account nachgeschaut, bestellt hatte ich es am 12. Oktober 2009.

Eben habe ich bei Amazon noch eine Six DVD-Box mit dem Namen "Disney Parks: The Secrets, Stories and Magic Behind the Scenes" entdeckt, welche am 1. Juni rauskommen soll. Preis: $26.49, ganz OK für 6 DVDs.

Ich hatte meines auch in den USA vor ca. einem Jahr bestellt - ist letzte Woche versandt worden. Bin gespannt, wann es eintrifft - die haben nämlich leider noch meine alte Anschrift. Aber Dank Nachsendeantrag sollte es keine großen Verzögerungen geben. Das hat bei anderen Lieferungen aus den USA vor ein paar Tagen auch gut geklappt :mw

Der "normale" Versand hat mich $4.99 gekostet. Also mit Buch $42.79. Nach aktuellem Dollarkurs insgesamt also €34,72. Im Vergleich zum deutschen Angebot kann man da nicht meckern :001: Bestellt habe ich übrigens genau am 22. Mai 2009. Freue mich auf das Buch :jump

Hier ein paar Daten zu dem Thema: Link. Oftmals ist es aber auch eine Frage der Kulanz des jeweiligen Zollamtes. Bei niedrigen Beträgen drücken sie hier und da schon einmal ein Auge zu. Offiziell wäre es aber so, dass auf meine Bestellung derzeit exakt 19% Mehrwertsteuer anfallen - aber kein Zoll :001: Also mit ein wenig Pech muss ich noch € 6,60 zahlen ... damit habe ich dann insgesamt zwar immer noch ein wenig gespart, aber an sich ist es nicht mehr der Rede wert. Lediglich die bessere Verfügbarkeit spricht für die Bestellung in den USA.

Ich melde mich, wenn mein Buch angekommen ist :mw

Weiss nicht, wie es in Deutschland ist, aber wenn der Totalbetrag (inkl. Versandkosten) unter Fr. 100 ist, muss man nix bezahlen.

Das sind doch Beamte. Nun rate doch mal. ;)
Das ist ja das lustige ... legen sie sich lieber ein wenig auf den Schreibtisch und lassen in dem Fall die Arbeit Arbeit sein oder haben sie ihr Monatspensum an abgearbeiteten Fällen (5?) noch nicht erledigt? An so einem Fall kann man sicher 3-4 Tage arbeiten :giggle:
