Wichtige Information: Das "Wishes"-Feuerwerk wird im Sommer 2010 durch eine andere Feuerwerks-Show ersetzt. Eine Rückkehr von "Wishes" im Herbst 2010 ist möglich, jedoch (noch?) nicht offiziell von Disney kommuniziert.

Ja, das Wishes-Feuerwerk... Erhält klar meine Stimme als Lieblingsfeuerwerk. Es ist simpel: Die Kombination aus der Location, den Feuerwerkseffekten, Tinker Bell, die vom Schloss fliegt und der Storyline machen "Wishes" zum etwas vom emotionalsten, was man in Disney World erleben kann. Ich habe mir das wirklich jeden Abend angesehen und ich dürfte nicht der einzige sein, der dabei feuchte Augen bekam.

Es gibt ja viele Orte, von wo man dieses irrsinnig grosse Feuerwerk bestaunen kann: Auf der anderen Seite der Seven Seas Lagoon, vom Dach des Contemporary Resorts, aber ich halte es da jeweils ganz klassisch und begebe mich jeweils ins Hub, neben die Partners-Statue von Walt und Mickey. Cinderella Castle direkt vor einem zu haben ist halt doch immer noch der schönste Anblick.

Aus der "Hätten Sie's gewusst?" Kategorie: Eine einzige Aufführung von "Wishes" kostet $30'000 - es ist damit bis heute das grösste Disney-Feuerwerk.

Der Soundtrack ist für mich persönlich das Beste an "Wishes". In den Parks ist dieser übrigens auf CD erhältlich - der Kauf ist sehr empfehlenswert! Ich hab den Text mal vor langer Zeit ergoogelt - here it is:

PETER PAN: I wish...we'd never have to grow up. Off to Neverland, ha-ha!

Ich liebe das Feuerwerk auch. Einfach wunderbar und perfekt zur Musik abgestimmt.
Das einzige was es für mich noch toppt ist die Version die zur Halloween Party gemacht wird.
